气体爆炸上限/下限(LEL/UEL)
燃烧和爆炸发生,必须同时满足三个条件:燃料(例如:可燃气体)和氧气(空气)以某一个比例同时存在,以及燃源,例如火星或火焰。燃料和氧气的混合比例对于不同的气体混各不相同。
爆炸下限(LEL)是指某种气体在空气中支持燃烧的含量。爆炸上限是指某种气体在空气种支持燃烧的含量。超过此含量,因其含量过高而不能燃烧。在LEL和UEL之间的范围是该气体的燃烧范围。
表中值在此条件下有效:室温、大气压力,用2英寸管火花点火。多数气体爆炸范围因温度、压力和容器尺寸增加而增大。
